About Us
Sue has been an animal lover her whole life. She grew up with a dog named Snoopy. They think he was a mix between a German Shepherd, and a Collie. Sue and Snoopy regularly went on long walks together. Her family had a barn where people boarded their horses. When Sue was 13 she learned how to ride and brush the horses, and to muck out their stalls.
She currently has two cats: she has had Mew Mew since 1996. Bubba is a newer member; Sue adopted him from the Mansfield Animal Shelter in 2004. Mew Mew is a pretty female, she looks like a Maine Coon. Bubba is a big black and white puff ball.
Sue’s favorite thing to do on a nice day is to walk a dog. She doesn’t currently own a dog, and considers herself very lucky that other people will pay for the privilege of walking theirs. She enjoys meeting many different cats. Kittens are the most fun, but every cat has a little kitten in him/her. Some take time to warm up to her and some treat her like a long lost friend. It is so gratifying when a shy cat hops up in her lap and starts purring.

Sue worked at Shaw’s Supermarkets for 12 years before she decided she needed a change. Sue got into Pet Sitting by
occasionally sitting for her mother’s pets, Lady and Spooky. She started looking into opening a dog walking business and came across
Pet Sitters International on the internet. She became a member of PSI and started her business in December 2005.
She is Accredited by PSI.
